The Zygote Wall Sconce is a custom light fixture designed for a women’s healthcare facility in Ithaca, New York.  The design concept for this medical center was education, inspired by the controversies behind women’s healthcare rights and how many stem from incorrect information.  This facility aims to inspire personal growth and community embrace via empowerment by education.  The Zygote Wall Sconce beautifies the anatomical structure of the first clump of cells that form a human fetus. By inspiring learning about bodily facts, more people will become educated about women’s healthcare as a whole.
